Saturday August 9th   ~  10AM-4PM

Hillsdale ArtsWalk in the Village Square near the intersection of Route 23 & Anthony St. and beyond.

It’s an indoor/outdoor event celebrating the talented artists and artisans in Columbia County and beyond. There is no entrance fee for the Hillsdale ArtsWalk.

Attendees can stroll from C Herrington Home + Design (at the intersection of routes 22 & 23),  head west to the Village Square making stops along the way, then south down Anthony Street to finish at Twisted Sisters Coffee House

Thanks to Copake Country Club, a golf cart is available to give you a lift if you aren’t up to walking the area.  A printed program will be available at an Information Booth at the event.

This non-profit, volunteer-run organization provides an artist showcase for local artists to share their work with a diverse audience. Attendees can browse and purchase everything from oils, watercolors, collage to ceramics, jewelry, pottery, woodcraft and even sweet treats with Beehive Baked Goods. Many artists will be set up in tents and will also be found indoors, hosted by several local businesses.

Beehive Baked Goods will be on Anthony Street.

Live music by local musicians will entertain the guests. The programming kicks off at 10AM with Abby Lappen, (mix of folk/blues) followed at 11 by jazz with Howard Lieberman, 12 noon by the duo of Seth Fallon & Brian Eddy (rock n roll classics), and John Nowak (Americana/bluegrass) at 1PM.  At 2PM, Christina Dellea will perform her 60’s-80’s pop favorites. At 3PM, you will enjoy the music of Rick & Marilyn closing out the show with hippie/folk rock.

Aside from the yummy food available at Hillsdale’s many eateries, two special treats will be on hand at ArtsWalk: all-natural ice cream from Modern Milk Bar and tantalizing selections from the Cousin’s Maine Lobster food truck that will be parked at the bottom of Anthony Street starting at 1PM.

The organization’s mission is to foster an atmosphere in Hillsdale that is supportive of all art forms, and that brings greater awareness of the cultural richness that is found in our region.
